Berekum Arsenal moved from the relegation zone in the Ghana top-flight after a 1-1 draw at New Edubiase United.
Joseph Masel carved the Edubiase defence for the opener in the 18th minute mark with a wonderful strike from inside of the area.
Arsenals were hoping to repeat last season's display but Edubiase grabbed the equaliser nine minutes before the break.
