Alhaji Yakubu Moro, the CEO of Berekum Arsenals says he’s very happy for the 4-3 win over Berekum Chelsea on their home grounds, Berekum Golden City Park yesterday.
The win pushed the gunners away from the relegation zone.
The spectacular match saw seven goals in all, with a hat-trick from Emmanuel Clottey of Chelsea, which put him on top of the goal scorers’ chart with 15 goals.
He scored the first goal in the very early stages of the game, but his goal was cancelled from two penalty kicks from Stephen Amankwaa (CST). Nana Poku extend the lead to 3-1 .Clottey scored his 2nd goal to close the gap in the first half.
Nana Poku added a goal to the score sheet to make it 4-2 in the first half of the game.
Emmanuel Clootey completed his hat-trick in the second half to close the game at 4 goals to 3 in favour of the gunners.
Alhaji Yakubu Morro hinted that they are preparing very well to pick all the points from Sunyani in their next match against BA stars to secure their place in the competitive Glo premier league.
