The GFA Disciplinary Committee has declared Berekum Chelsea as of losers all their matches from February 4 until they settle their indebtedness to WAFA SC in relation Solomon Asante’s transfer to TP Mazembe.
This decision is in accordance with the automatic forfeiture of matches under Article 39(8)(d) of the GFA General Regulations.
The former Ghana champions will lose the 7 points gained in addition to the 11 they already lost in 6 league matches for failing to pay WAFA their US$59,722.23 share from the transfer of Solomon Asante
Berekum Chelsea, thus loses 7 points and drop from their 9th position to the bottom of the table with only 6 points trailing behind BA united who has only 7 points
