Steve Pollack wants more from his players after Berekum Chelsea nicked a late winner against Liberty Professionals to record their first victory of the season.
The champions managed a 2-1 victory at the Golden City Park on Saturday with substitute Yaw Alexander's last-gasp goal handing them all the spoils after Abdul Basit had cancelled out Fuseini Zuberu's opener for Liberty from a the spot.
Chelsea who drew their opener 1-1 in Accra with Mighty Jets six days ago were heading towards another draw result when the substitute scored to give them the winner.
"Liberty are a good side and I expected them to be aggressive. They gave us a good game," Pollack said.
"I look at how we play and how the opponent do. We lacked ideas in the first half and the penalty brought us back into the game.
"The fitness and confidence helped us to win the game."
Pollack believes his current squad has the potential to be the best even through he still has other options as he awaits the clearance of some players signed by Chelsea.
"We have a good squad and can get better. Their confidence is key and winning would help them settle. They can push on from here," he said.
