Life under Hans Van Der Plyum got off to a good start for Berekum Chelsea as the champions eased their frustrating run with a 4-1 away win against new boys Wassaman United on Sunday in Sekondi.
The Dutchman was leading the champions in his first game since the sacking of Steve Pollack after last weekend's home game.
Captain Abdul Basit put Chelsea in front on the third minute when he scored from the spot.
Emmanuel Clottey, who returned to the starting line up struck a brace to hand Der Plyum's side a comfortable 3-0 lead before the break.
And 21 minutes from the break, Mubarak Moro scored Chelsea's fourth goal before Zufah Zuga got a late consolation for Herbert Addo's side.
The win, Chelsea's second in five games moves them up to the sixth position
