Ghana Lost To Nigeria In The WAFU Cup Of Nations

Ghana missed out of the grand finale after losing to Nigeria in the semi-final of the Wafu Cup of Nations today.

The hosts managed a 2-1 victory to enhance their title-winning ambitions with the finals coming up on Saturday against Togo.

 Ghana drew first blood from a penalty kick in the second half but the Super Eagles got an equaliser before winning the game in the second half of extra time.

David Duncan's Meteors would play Liberia, losers of the other last-four match in a third-place play off before the final match.
