NPP Holds An Elephantine Health Walk-In Berekum

nppHwalkThe Bono Youth Wing of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Saturday 10th October 2020 stormed the principal streets of Berekum in the Bono Region with a mammoth Health walk.

The health walk which had a record attendance was graced by the National Youth Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe Abronye, Minister for Employment and Labour Relations, Hon Ignatius Baffour Awuah, Minister for Health, Hon Kwaku Agyemang Manu, Regional Secretary, Kofi Ofosu Boateng, Regional Youth Organizer Razack Oppong, Parliamentary Candidates including Mr Nelson Kyeremeh, Hon Kofi Adjei and other Municipal and District Chief Executives, Party Executives and sympathizers among others.

The walk that brought together thousands of supporters and well-wishers was with the view of re-energizing, retooling and repositioning the youth army in the region ostensibly to enable the NPP to win the 2020 election emphatically and also launch the regional youth campaign.

Speaking at the launch at a separate durbar, Chairman for the Bono Region, Mr Kwame Baffoe Abronye said the events have empowered and charged the youth wing and supporters in the region to work tirelessly and diligently, to ensure operation 12/12 agenda ( meaning to win all the twelve Constituencies in the Bono region).

He added that President Akufo-Addo has performed better and therefore encouraged the supporters to double their efforts ahead of the crucial December polls to secure a first-round victory for President Akufo-Addo.

 

Speaking as the guest speaker for the occasion, National Youth Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye on his part said, Bono region will soon become a stronghold of the party due to the hard work of the leadership in the region. According to him, the youth are at the core of the policies and programmes of Nana Akufo-Addo’s government and thus the President is committed to ensuring that he implements policies that have a direct, positive impact on every life, particularly that of the youth.

The health walk and subsequent rally were put together by the leadership of the youth wing in the party led by Razack Oppong.
