Chelsea showed its Premier League title credentials with a 3-0 win over Edubiase at the Berekum Golden city Park over the weekend. Striker Emmanuel Clottey exhibited tight goal-scoring skills and grabbed a brace to cushion the title aspirations.
Clottey headed home the opener in the 61st minute courtesy a Mohammed Basit cross.
Captain Basit doubled the lead on 73rd minutes when he rose home to connect Clottey’s cross.
With seven minutes left for play, Clottey scored a personal second with a sublime finish.
Clottey has 9 goals now, which makes him the top scorer with Kotoko’s Nathaniel Asamoah .
Berekum Chelsea has a 14 point lead and inching close to the Ghana Premier League title.
