Berekum Chelsea on Sunday 17th July, 2011 was crowned the 2010/2011 league champions after being presented with the Glo Premier League trophy.
Champions Berekum Chelsea showed true championship stuff by beating former champions Aduana Stars 1-0 on Sunday in the coronation match at Berekum Golden City Park.
Chief Executive Obed Nana Kwame Nketiah expressed satisfaction at the team’s 1-0 win over dethroned champions Aduana Stars in the match.
Nana Daasebre Amankona Diawuo, Chief of Berekum, Nana Agyeman Badu- Chief of Dormaa, Bechem Hene, The Regional Minister of Brong Ahafo, The MCE of Berekum, The MP of Berekum and whole lot more of dignitaries were present at the function.
