Over the weekend the people of Berekum especially the political fraternity and the NPP received the shock of the passing away of Mr. Kwame Mfum, the NPP youth organizer for Berekum East. He attended a funeral at Nsawkaw where he was reported and was sent to the Nsawkaw district hospital, he passed away on referral to Wenchi Hospital. The family and friends of Mr. Mfum received the news, early Sunday morning, which has thrown several people and sympathizers into great shock.
He related to everybody as a brother, young and old and importantly from the different political divide, though he was a dedicated NPP member.
His one week observation is scheduled to take place in Berekum on Saturday 5th of December at the R/C Mixed (St. Monica’s) schools park on the old Sunyani road.
