The District Chief Executive of the Berekum West Assembly, Hon. Isaac Osei the 21st of February, 2020, handed over a well-furnished three-bedroom apartment to the District Health Directorate.
Hon. Osei noted that Berekum West Health Directorate has inadequate bungalows for its workers and that is why his office decided to start this project last year, 2019. He further stated that the midwives and the head of the health directorate should be closer to the facility to render services to patients when the need arises. He said the assembly will do more to assist in good healthcare delivery. He also advised the District Health Director, Mad. Agnes Asiedu to take good care of the building.
The Akyeampimhene of Berekum traditional area and also Jinijinihene Nana Baffour Asare Tutu II thanked the DCE for the building to the Health Directorate and also for fulfilling his request.
The director also expressed gratitude to the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and DCE Hon. Isaac Osei for their kind gesture to the health directorate.
