The Presiding Member of Berekum East Municipal Assembly and the assemblyman of Kyeretwede/Abontema, Hon Joseph Baffour Awuah is collaborating with an NGO and SINAPI ABA Savings and Loan to provide free apprentice training for the youth in Berekum.
The organization will support the beneficiary to undertake an apprentice training of choice for a 3-year duration. After the training, SINAPI ABA will provide an interest-free loan (if needed) to start the requisite trade with flexible payback plan.
It is to be noted that the financial support during the training program will be free but the loan (if required) to startup will be paid back after a reasonable time off work.
The training includes but not limited to sliding and glazing works, tiling, welding, fitting, hairdressing, masonry, dressmaking, etc.
The organization will provide all the necessary tools and capital required to start the training. The beneficiary will then get certified by the NVTI and issued a certificate after completion.
