President Nana Addo Dankwaa Akuffo Officially Pays a Courtesy Call On Daasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II, Paramount Chief of Berekum

DaasebeNanaAddoThe President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwaa Akuffo-Addo as part his tour of the Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Regions, paid a courtesy call to interact with the chief and the people of Berekum on Thursday 10th September 2020.

In the welcome address by Daasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo ll, he thanked the president for paying Berekum a visit since no president had paid him an official visit for the past twenty years.

Daasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo ll also used the opportunity to show his appreciation to the president for providing asphalt roads to uplift the status of roads in Berekum after his visit with Berekumman citizens association to him a few months ago. He thanked and praised the president for his brilliant policies such as free SHS, planting for food and jobs and one district one factory which Berekum is a beneficiary.

The Omanhene acknowledged the support to Mr Yaw Boahen and Lawyer Kwame Boahen, founders of the Waddi Tomato and Agro-processing factory in Domfete, Berekum, which is part of the one district one factory initiative.

 

Daasebre put in a request for a bus each for Jinijini Senior High and St Augustine Senior High schools.

In a short address, the president urged the people of Berekum to vote for him and his MPs to continue his good works for the country.

Nana Addo Dankwaa Akuffo Addo praised Mr Yaw Boahen and his brother Lawyer Kwame Boahen for the investment they have made in setting up the tomato factory in partnership with government to help create jobs for the people of Berekum.

President Nana Addo Dankwaa Akuffo Addo further assured customers of DKM that by the end of September 2020, each of them would have received their locked-up funds.

He further assured that his government will do everything possible for the country to see free, fair and peaceful elections in December and urged all to vote massively for the NPP.
