Brief history

Existence of non formal education is to improve the lives of illiterates especially the rural poor and women through the provision of quality functional literacy.

The management also gives them income generating activities which helps the learners to earn a better living.

18 staff members, which comprise the coordinator, the logistics officer, the income generating officer and 15 supervisors.

Achievements

Majority of illiterate are able to read and write now, therefore reducing illiteracy rate in the country

Most of the learners have acquired skills through NFED, income generating activities.

There is flexibility of socialization among illiterates through the NFED programs.
