President John Evans Atta Mills won the presidential candidature of the NDC by a whopping 2771 votes against his opponent Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings who got 90 votes.
The Congress has been described by most observers as the most peaceful and well organised congress by the NDC. This delegates’ congress was held in Sunyani (coronation Park) on Saturday 9th July 2011.
