The NDC on Sunday 18th of October 2020, held a mammoth campaign launch at Mpatasie where the presidential candidate has promised to build a sports stadium.
The NDC General Secretary, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia who is also known as General Mosquito, urged supporters to vote massively for the NDC party. He accused the NPP of stealing ideas from their manifesto though they mocked the NDC for soliciting ideas from the Ghanaian people and labelled them as illiterates.
He further taunted, their manifesto has shocked the NPP and they have been found wanting.
He quizzed the people of Berekum, what the NPP has done for them for the past 20 years they've been voting for them. He thus encouraged the people of Berekum to vote for The Parliamentary candidate of the NDC for Berekum East Constituency, Elder Simon Ampaabeng, for a real change.
Elder Simon Ampaabeng Kyeremeh also appealed to the masses to vote in their numbers for him and the NDC’s presidential candidate, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to do more for the good people of Berekum.
Elder Ampaabeng touted, he’s building a sports stadium for the people of Mpatasie though he’s not the MP yet. He emphasized that he’s tackling an issue or two in almost every community and thus when the people vote him in, he will do more.
