Berekum Municipal COVET Graduates 75 Apprentice After Learning Various Trades Including Welding, Auto Mechanic and the Like

cotvetThe Berekum Municipality Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (COVET) has graduates 75 apprentice who through their support has gone through various kinds of training such as Auto Mechanic, Welding and Fabrication, Electronics and Electricals, Cosmetology and Garment training.

Presenting their certificate to them on Thursday, 29 March 2018, the Coordinator of COVET in the Berekum Municipal, Mr Isaac Kojo Kumah explained the importance of helping the youth to acquire training which will help reduce the unemployment rate in the country. He said training of 75 apprentices costed an amount of GhC35,500.00 for 3years. He advised the apprentice to make good use of the tools and equipment COVET has provided them so that the society will benefit from it.

The Leader of the Hair Dresser and Dress Making Association in Berekum, Nana Abena Kentenbutu II thanked COVET for their support to help eradicate poverty from the society.

She advised the youth to keep being sober and show respect to their masters so that they can finished their training and skills well.
