Berekumman citizens Association on Good Friday, as part of Easter festivities, organized a free health screening for the people of Berekum to help them live well as we celebrate this year 2018 Easter.
A patron of the Association, Prof. Daniel Kwabena Obeng Ofori, the Vice Chancellor of the Catholic University urge everyone to regularly do checkups to find out minor sicknesses in the body so that early treatment can be done .
The organizer of the Berekum Dwellers Association, a subsidiary of the Berekumman association, Mr Ali Danyedy also said this free health screening is not only what the association is going to do but a lot of plans are under way to help Berekum to redeem its golden city status.
Several people of Berekum who participated in the event showed a lot of appreciation about the contributions the Berekumman Citizens Association is doing to support Berekum's development.
The Assistant Health Physician of the Holy Family Hospital in Berekum, Mr Henry Akwasi Amankwaa also said organizing health screening in the occasion of Easter is a good move by the leaders of Berekumman Citizens Association. He said checking of once health provides so many ways that help to find cure to a number of diseases hidden in the body. He said there are some common diseases that can be check to avoid premature death.
