The Holy Family Hospital(HOFAHO) in collaboration with Berekumcity.com with support from Shalom Radio, Agoro FM, Chris FM, Ahenfo radio and others yesterday 5th of October, 2013 held a blood donation exercise.
This project has become an annual one-- third consecutive time-- with the aim of providing blood to stock the blood bank of the Berekum Holy Family Hospital.
The blood bank which is mostly out of stock of blood needs to be stocked frequently to avert any disaster in times of critical need.
This year’s event was incorporated with a free eye screening exercise for all donors. The screening provided some very useful tests for the various donors from a very competent staff from the Hospital and the Emmanuel Eye Center.
