The Blues from Berekum gave Accra Hearts of Oak a run for their money. The first half ended with none of the two sides breaking the deadlock at the Berekum Golden City Park.
Stephen Amankona broke the game's virginity 3 minutes after the start of the second half to put the Blues in the lead. Braima Mohammed doubled the lead with a spectacular goal in the 75th minute.
The Blues were on top of their game with the Never Say Die Boys wallowing in shambles. Collins Ameyaw who was crowned the man of the match sealed the deal for the Blues with a splendid finish in the 78th minute.
