After about a fortnight after the burial rites of Nana Akua Ameahene II, the late queen mother of Berekum, the citizens of Berekum have been fortunate to get a new queen mother.
Madam Akosua Agyeiwaa, a business woman, who is a cousin of the Omanhene, Daasebre Dr. Amankona Diawuo II has been nominated and installed as the new queen mother of Berekum in a beautiful ceremony in the Omanhene's palace today Monday, August 20, 2018.
Madam Akosua Agyeiwaa was conferred the stool name, Nana Kosua Ameahene III, after the immediate past and late queen mother.
