A seasoned entrepreneur and CEO of Legend Real Estates and Golden city Group of Companies, Legend Derick Obeng Mensah have encouraged the youth of Berekum to come up with business ideas, which he will help fine-tune and also help them get financial support.
Legend was speaking at the YES CONSULT’S 2nd YES Conference 2019, under the theme, Entrepreneurial Mindset, which was held at the Berekum College of Education on the 5th of August, 2019.
He has a strong conviction that there is a lot of potential in Berekum and thus if the youth are given the right support and guidance a lot of entrepreneurs can be unleashed to curb the unemployment situation, he pointed out.
He said if the youth have meaningful things doing and financially sound, then they can not be lured into violent activities for the selfish interest of power-drunk individuals.
He encouraged financially sound individuals from Berekum to support the youth in doing meaningful things with their lives.
He also promised that any skilled worker who needs a job could reach out to him to take advantage of some of the opportunities available in his companies
