Nana Kosua Ameahene III, Queen Mother of Berekum, Outdoored in a Beautiful Ceremony

Nana KosuaOn Friday 5th of October, 2018, the queen mother of Berekum was outdoored officially to the general populace of Berekum in a beautiful cultural ceremony at the Omanahene's Palace. The youth of Berekum has not witnessed such a ceremony since the last one was over 45 years ago.

The ceremony saw indigenes, well-wishers, various individuals and groups, political leaders, the clergy, the Imam and heads of institutions in the Berekum city attending and paying homage to the new beautiful queen mother of the golden city.

The newly enstooled Queen mother, Nana Kosua Ameahene III succeeded the late Nana Akua Ameahene II who passed away last year.

Her Outdooring proceeds a forty day observation after her enstoolment.

Nana Kosua Ameahene III in her speech thanked the people of Berekum for the honour done her and called for Unity and love among all Citizens of Berekum both home and abroad to foster development in Berekum.

Nana Kosua Ameyaahene III emphasised that Berekum has had its own share of negative reportage and thus promised to help redeem the good name of the golden city

.DaasebreShe said Berekum is going to develop and all should come together to support the chiefs so that what Berekum has waited for all these years in terms of development will come to light. She emphasised that, now that Berekum has gotten its paramount chief, Omanhene Dr. Daasebre Amankona Diawuo II and Queen mother Nana Kosua Ameyaahene III, a great change is going to happen in the golden city.

She called on everyone to ignore all the bad news that has been reported about Berekum and emphasise on the positives and the task ahead.

The Omanhene of Berekum Traditional Area Dr. Dasebre Amankona Diawuo II also called for Unity among the people of Berekum, and thank the people for their support towards the outdooring of the Omanhemaa.

He said all should keep on supporting Nananom to bring development to Berekum.
