The President, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo promised to develop most parts of the country through the President’s Special Initiative Development (PSID) vehicle. In the fulfillment of his promise, Berekum is getting a well-structured 74 shed structure at the Nana Yiadom Boakye Market popularly known as Rawlings Park at Ahenbronoso.
The project will help give the market the needed facelift.
Speaking to the contractor, Alhaji Mohammed of SHAADIS Construction Limited, he told Berekumcity.com that the project was initially meant for Koforidua in the Eastern Region but unfortunately, there was no site available to carry on that project, with the intervention of the Member of Parliament Hon. Kwabena Twum Nuamah, the project was brought to Berekum.
The contractor stated that it was a six-month contract and he works to complete it by the end of October 2019. He expressed his appreciation to the entire citizenry of Berekum together with the Chiefs and elders for the peaceful atmosphere and support which they have enjoyed since the project started.
He promised to deliver a beautiful and quality project in Berekum as his company always does, wherever they go.
