The MP for Berekum East constituency Hon Nelson Keremeh has donated 1606 mathematical sets and pens to 41 public schools pupils who are sitting for this year's Basic Education Certificate Examination which commences today Monday, 15th of November 2021.
Speaking to the media, he said, sharing of these items started in the year 2014 through his predecessor and will continue every year to support BECE candidates.
He urged the candidates to be focused and resilient as they commence their exams. He made the presentation to the students on Monday, 8th of November 2021.
He further promised the candidate that those who will attain grades from aggregate 6 to 9 will get GHC 1,000, a trunk, student's mattress and chop-box to support their Senior high education as he did last year.
The candidates thanked him for his kind gesture and promise to come out with very good grades to make everyone proud.
The municipal director of education Ms Beatrice Maamily Nkum on behalf of the education directorate thanked the MP for his Continuous support in the educational sector. She entreated all to support the educational sector for quality teaching and learning.
